Specs Summary
About This Assembly
LMR200 Times Cable
LMR-200 is a Times Microwave 50-ohm flexible coaxial cable with a 0.200" diameter, positioned between LMR-195 and LMR-240 for applications requiring a compromise between flexibility and low loss. It supports frequencies up to 3 GHz and is frequently deployed for WLAN access point drops, panel antenna leads, and base station jumpers up to 50 feet.
RP-TNC Connector
RP-TNC (Reverse Polarity TNC) uses the TNC threaded shell with reversed pin conventions, similar to RP-SMA. It is used on some commercial WiFi access points and outdoor CPE antennas, particularly in older Cisco and Linksys equipment, and offers better vibration resistance than RP-SMA in demanding outdoor environments.
TNC Connector
TNC (Threaded Neill–Concelman) is the threaded version of BNC, offering improved performance up to 11 GHz and better vibration resistance through its screw coupling. It is commonly used in mobile radio antennas, avionics, and outdoor installations where BNC's bayonet lock would not provide sufficient mechanical security.
Common Applications
This RP-TNC and TNC cable assembly is well suited for WLAN access point drops, panel antenna leads, and medium-length indoor runs. The combination of reliable RP-TNC and TNC connectors and custom-cut cable length makes it a practical choice for both field installations and bench setups. Every assembly is hand-terminated, continuity tested, and ships free within the USA.
