About This Assembly
LMR100 Times Cable
LMR-100A is a Times Microwave 50-ohm flexible coaxial cable with a 0.100" outer diameter, delivering significantly lower signal loss than RG-174 or RG-178 at the same form factor. Its foil-plus-braid shield offers 40 dB shielding effectiveness. A popular upgrade for short antenna pigtails and module connections in WiFi, cellular, and GPS applications.
BNC Connector
BNC (Bayonet Neill–Concelman) is a quick-connect RF connector featuring a bayonet locking mechanism for fast mating and unmating, rated from DC to 4 GHz. Its ease of use makes it standard in test and measurement equipment, video distribution, two-way radio accessories, and laboratory bench setups where cables are frequently connected and disconnected.
RP-TNC Connector
RP-TNC (Reverse Polarity TNC) uses the TNC threaded shell with reversed pin conventions, similar to RP-SMA. It is used on some commercial WiFi access points and outdoor CPE antennas, particularly in older Cisco and Linksys equipment, and offers better vibration resistance than RP-SMA in demanding outdoor environments.
Common Applications
This BNC and RP-TNC cable assembly is well suited for short antenna pigtails, module-to-antenna connections, and compact RF assemblies. The combination of reliable BNC and RP-TNC connectors and custom-cut cable length makes it a practical choice for both field installations and bench setups. Every assembly is hand-terminated, continuity tested, and ships free within the USA.
